The story of the Institute
Imre Végh started this work in 2006, in the Netherlands. It has since grown into a network of trainers and coaches, and the work now also takes us to Houston, Madrid, Strasbourg, Porto and Kampala.

About Imre
Hi, I'm Imre, first and foremost proud father of two children and married to my great love. I find deep delight in the wonder of stars, the beauty of a chess game, botanical gardens and music, from Marcus Miller to Jai Uttal.
Utrecht and TrueVoice
I work from Utrecht, for organisations around the world. In the Netherlands I also run TrueVoice Academie, with Dutch-language training, open workshops and team coaching since 2006.
Embracing opposites
I embrace it all: chaos and beauty, anger and love, confrontation and connection. Real growth is not comfortable, it is challenging and absolutely worth it. After twenty years of training and coaching I'm done pretending: I can be sharp and direct, yet deeply compassionate. Not a spiritual teacher, but a fellow seeker who embraces both the darkness and the light in all of us. Sharp enough to look past the facade, gentle enough to hold what we find there.
A better world
My work is about nothing less than heaven on earth (there, I said it), through the raw and complex work of being fully human. I worry about the state of our planet and the future of my children: climate change, inequality, polarisation. I believe compassionate leadership is part of the answer. I want to be what Roman Krznaric calls a good ancestor, and I practise what Joanna Macy calls active hope: facing a painful reality and still working for change.
The inner work
Twenty years of this work have taught me that people grow in the raw and messy parts of being human. I can only guide others as far as I have gone myself, so I keep facing my own monsters too.
