Tools
The instruments we use in our own training rooms, free for you to use in yours. No account, no signup, and nothing you enter leaves your phone.
Try the room before you book it
Most of these are the tools we actually use in our training rooms. Participants open them on their phones, and within a minute a group has something concrete to talk about instead of an abstraction.
They are free, they need no account, and nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere. Use them on your own, or put one in front of your team at the start of a meeting and see what surfaces. The last one is not a workshop instrument at all, just something we made and liked too much to keep to ourselves.
Psychological Safety
How safe does your team feel to speak up, take a risk, admit a mistake and simply be themselves? Seven questions, and an honest picture of where the team stands right now.
Open the tool → Life balanceHive of Life
Twenty-four aspects of a life, in six domains: work and study, purpose, relationships, vitality, development and leisure. Score them and the whole hive shows you where the energy is, and where it leaks away.
Open the tool → Inner developmentIDG Compass
A self-reflection along the five dimensions of the Inner Development Goals: being, thinking, relating, collaborating and acting. The inner skills that outer change turns out to need.
Open the tool → Nonviolent CommunicationUniversal Needs
Underneath most difficult behaviour sits a need that is not being met. Mark which of yours are fulfilled and which are not, and the pattern tends to speak for itself.
Open the tool → Character traitsQualities & Pitfalls
Every quality carries its own shadow. Ambition tips into restlessness, care tips into rescuing. Pick the traits you recognise in yourself and see which pitfall comes with each.
Open the tool → Working across culturesThe Culture Map
Eight scales along which working cultures genuinely differ: communicating, evaluating, persuading, leading, deciding, trusting, disagreeing and scheduling. Useful before you conclude a colleague is being difficult.
Open the tool → Personal reflectionConnectedness to Nature
How deeply do you feel part of the natural world around you, rather than a visitor to it? A quiet reflection, and often a surprising one.
Open the tool → Attention trainingHappy Balloons
A small game that trains your attention to notice the good, built on Attention Bias Modification research. Our gift, and the one on this page your children will fight you for.
Open the tool →Most of these come straight out of a workshop, where a facilitator holds the conversation that follows. If you want that conversation for your own team, that is what our team coaching and psychological safety training are for.
"Compassion directed to oneself is humility." Simone Weil
Why we give these away
Because a tool is not the work. Anyone can hand a team a questionnaire; the value sits in what a group dares to say once the results are on the screen, and in whether someone in the room can hold that conversation without it collapsing into blame or politeness.
So take them. If they open something up that your team cannot get through on its own, you know where to find us.
Want the conversation that follows?
Tell us what is happening in your team and we will design the session around what is actually needed. The first conversation is simply that: a conversation. No pitch, no obligations.
